Christopher’s life-long commitment to advocacy for social justice and disability rights stems from his personal experiences as a Deaf person. Christopher earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Public Policy from Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to working for the City of Detroit as the director of the Office of Disability Affairs, Christopher worked for several nonprofit organizations, in higher education, and the legislative government. He also serves as a board director at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf Alumni Association (NTIDAA).
